ExperienceRuthie Knote, MBBQ, and the late Charles (Charlie) Knote, MBBQ, PhB, (1921-1998) are co-authors of "Barbecuing & Sausage-Making SECRETS" and co-creators of the CISC MASTER BBQ COOKING SCHOOL. Ruthie is currently the President and CEO of CISC and Master Indoor/Outdoor Cooking Consultant. She is a member of the Kansas City Barbecue Society and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. Ruthie is also a certified judge for both Memphis In May and the KCBS, a sponsor of The American Royal in Kansas City, MO. The Master BBQ Cooking School is administered in Denver, CO by the Knote's former son-in-law, John Head, MBBQ, a 30-plus-year veteran of the BBQ pit, a 17-year apprentice and business associate of both the Knotes, a member of the National BBQ Association , the Kansas City Barbecue Society and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. John is also a certified KCBS judge and has tasted at both Memphis In May and The American Royal in Kansas City, MO. |
